Evoke Energy Yin $5 YTT Class

Yin Yoga is known as the quiet yoga. Many of the most popular forms of yoga are fundamentally yang in nature, based on rhythmic movement of the muscle. Yin, in contrast concentrates on connective tissue and tendons, which are critical to our physical well being and range of motion.
Postures are practiced on the floor and each is held for a lengthy period, usually 3-5 minutes. As a result, the body is energized, encouraging a free flow of chi. Chi is described as the “life force” of the body that often gets blocked or stagnant. Yin yoga is a gentle practice that can bring your body back into a balanced state after a week of intense activity or stress. It teaches you to relax and accept yourself for who you are in the present moment. Elements of “transformation breathing” (TB) and Yoga Nidra are also incorporated. Yin practice is a gift you give your body, mind and spirit. It will renew your energy, massage your joints and start your week off with a positive perspective.

These non-heated classes are are taught by our qualified teachers-in-training. They provide a lower cost way for you to practice yoga - each class is only $5! You may use your unlimited pass or regular class passes for these classes.

Evoke Energy Yin Yoga

Evoke Energy Yoga (EEY) is a discovery-based Yin Yoga practice accessible to all backgrounds and body types. Yin Yoga is known as the quiet yoga. Many of the most popular forms of yoga are fundamentally “yang” in nature, based on rhythmic movement of the muscle. Yin Yoga, in contrast, tones and nourishes connective tissue (facia, joints, ligaments and tendons) which can in turn enhance our range of motion and overall physical well-being. Postures are practiced on the floor and each is held for a period of 3-5 minutes.
 
Our creation of “Evoke Energy Yin” infuses meditation and energy enhancement into your practice with transformational breathwork, acupressure, Reiki, Yoga Nidra and other healing modalities. As a result you can access a balanced state and teaches you to relax, connect and accept the present moment, and your body can be energized with new flow of 'life force'. Taught at room temperature.

Gratitude Turkey Burner Class - By Donation, No Passes

Come get sweaty before enjoying your holiday feast! This is a donation-based class that will be taught by many of our wonderful teachers. Please bring $10-$20 (or whatever you can) for the Bethlehem Inn.

Healing Flow

The focus of this empowering and rejuvenating class is on creating space for natural healing of the body and the whole self through moving energy, strengthening the core, improving balance and releasing tension. Movements will be paced with the breath to start, with longer holds toward the end to lengthen tight muscles, nourish connective tissue and provide deep mental relaxation. More modifications offered than our All Levels Power Vinyasa classes, and shorter holds than our Evoke Energy Yin classes. Accessible to all levels of physical conditioning and experience, and ideal for beginners, athletes, seniors and pre and post-natal students. Room temperature.

Kids Yoga (ages 3-7) - Lite Class

Namaspa hosts the longest running kids yoga classes in Central Oregon! Classes are 4-5p on Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30-10:45a on Saturdays in Bend, and 9a-10:15a in Redmond. Children ages 3-7 years old take class with a certified teacher, while their parents practice in a separate room. Classes include calming breath work, mindful games, sun salutations, moving like animals, story and snack time topped off with age appropriate discussions about kindness, nonviolence, and how we can live yoga.

Power Beats (Free First Friday of the Month)

Our "All Levels Flow" class, set to a lively playlist, meant to support your practice, breathing and experience. Flow with beats!
 
The "All Levels Flow" practice is based on the teachings of Baron Baptiste, author of the best-selling yoga book, Journey Into Power. The Baptiste Yoga practice supports you to raise your vitality and physical power and empower you to create accelerated results in your overall body strength and confidence. The Baptiste Yoga practice will challenge and support you in attaining the results you desire and deserve in your life. This class is suitable for all levels of practitioners. Classes are 60, 75 or 90 minutes in length and are held in a room heated to 90 degrees.

Power Flow $5 YTT Class

These heated classes are are taught by our newer teachers and qualified teachers-in-training and follow the regular All Levels Power Vinyasa format, based on Baron Baptiste's best selling book, Journey Into Power. There is a senior teacher participating in class (and named on the schedule) to coach the teachers-in-training, and to teach when necessary. Come and support the evolution of our teaching team!

The rate for this class is $5. All other Namaspa class passes are accepted. Room is 90 degrees.

Power Vinyasa Flow

This practice is based on the teachings of Baron Baptiste, author of the best-selling yoga book, Journey Into Power.

The Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga practice supports you to raise your vitality, physical power & freedom to access accelerated results in your overall body strength and confidence. The Baptiste Yoga practice will challenge and support you in attaining the results you desire and deserve in your life.

This class is suitable for all levels of practitioners, from raw beginner to advanced. Teachers give physical assists in class unless requested not to (see "no assist" signs for your mat at the front desk).

Classes are 60 or 75 minutes in length and are held in a room heated to 90 degrees. Come ready to sweat and reveal your shine!

Recovery Yoga - (separate pmt & sign-up see description) - Lite Class

Wherever you are on the road of recovery, this class offers a safe and confidential place to explore how meditation, pranayama (breath work), journaling, and yoga can aid in your recovery and enhance your life. The format is organic and will evolve with the students and teachers involved. This gathering is not limited to drug and alcohol dependence, as we are all on the road to recovery from something!

Vin/Yin

This class combines Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga with the benefits of passive Evoke Energy Yin Yoga postures. Baptiste Power Vinyasa is a vigorous practice that gives access to power, vitality and freedom, while the the slow, deep holds in Yin floor poses are designed to tone the connective tissue, tendons and ligaments. Temperature is at 90 degrees.

The yoga Sundari teaches can open, balance, purify, and hopefully enlighten you by utilizing the complete system of yoga. All levels can do yoga, just bring your willingness. We can live in our most positive, loving, selfless selves. Let her show you the way. Please wear comfortable clothing and no perfume. ohm shanti ohm. Lite vinyasa flow, room temperature.

Sundari rents this space for her classes and has separate payment, cash or check only. The rates for her classes are:
